Patty Wang was born in Huntington Memorial Hospital to Lily and Harry Wang. She grew up in South Pasadena, CA until she decided she wanted to go to school in Taiwan to learn Mandarin. There she learned Mandarin and Taiwanese and headed a local Canine rescue group. It was there in Taiwan were Patty's intese competitive spirt was allowed to shine in her school's varsity volleyball, softball, basketball, soccer and badminton teams.
After finishing high school she headed back to California to attend California State Polytechnic University Pomona to pursue a degree in Veterinary Science. During her freshman year at Cal Poly, she was chosen to compete in the IHSA equestrian circuit alongside her Veterinary Science seniors. In 2005 she received her Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration. While attending Cal Poly, Patty also played collegiate badminton for Pasadena City College's women's badminton team. Patty has since then returned to Cal Poly Pomona to finish up her degree in Veterinary Science. In her spare time Patty likes to attend as many autocross & drift events as her work and school schedules allow.
